A novel JAYA algorithm for optic disc localisation in eye fundus images

Retinal images are extensively used for the disclosure of retinal vascular disorders like diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration and optic neuritis. The analysis a diagnostic image using computer is necessary to ease optometrist automating load screening mechanism identify these disorders. primary step in technology aided diagnoses disc segmentation it considered as an interesting search problem. proposed methodology involves pre-processing fundus localisation Jaya algorithm. A new fitness function order improve accuracy localisation. efficiency examined on different datasets such DIARETDB1, DIARETDB0, CHASEDB1, DRIONS DRIVE. results infer that has achieved 99% location shows its superiority localising by comparing with existing literature.
